Alpaca Organizations

The Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association (AOBA), Alpaca Breeders
of the Rockies (ABR), South Eastern Colorado Alpaca Breeders (SECAB),
Alpaca Fiber Cooperative of North America (AFCNA) and The Alpaca
Registry Inc. (ARI) are separate entities important to the Alpaca Business.

ARI is vitally important to the alpaca industry, especially in the United
States. ARI is a scientific body that does blood typing and keeps pedigree
records of all alpacas who are registered and producing in the United
States of America. All of our alpacas at Star of the Rockies Alpacas have
ARI certifications.
